The City of Carson 45th Anniversary

This past Saturday we celebrated the City of Carson's 45th anniversary at the Carson Community Center. It was a fun-filled night filled with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails served at the Atrium and lots of good food.

Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich

This was quick breakfast I made at work for our "family meal" for the staff. I found a nice small square plate and I took mine outside to get some good natural light. It was a beautiful overcast morning outside perfect for a nice outside shot. There was a nice yellow pole with some good texture that I was able to place the plate on and snap this nice shot.

Micro Vegetables

Micro vegetables are grown with extreme care and attention. They are usually grown from normal vegetable seeds, but are meticulously harvested after only a couple weeks as opposed to the months required to grow their, full grown, counterparts. Micro vegetables are becoming the newest craze among chefs because of their delicate stature and are perfect for use as an interesting garnish for many dish ideas.
